Overview: she began her career in 1949 hauling cargo along the canals of France, Belgium and Holland but you would never guess that from her appearance today. With an intimate atmosphere you might find on a private yacht she is a great way to take in the French countryside. Cabins are roomy and all have private facilities including a shower. Entertainment on board comes in the form of board games or reading. You can also use one of the complimentary bicycles on board to follow the barge from the path along the river. Meals are classic French and include complimentary wine. You will also have at least one meal ashore at one of the nicer restaurants in town - usually a two- or three-star Michelin restaurant. Service and quality of food are very good.
