She actuallly consists of two 295-foot barges linked together - the LaSalle and the DeSoto. The barges are propelled through the water by the towboat Miss Nari which is the only towboat in the United States powered by Z Peller 360° propulsion units which allow the boat to rotate completely in place.
On board, the dining room, theater, game room, and other public facilities are located on the DeSoto, while the staterooms are located on the LaSalle. The staterooms feature two twin beds which can be converted into a single queen size bed, and measure approximately 200 square feet. All staterooms include a satellite TV, VCRs, full baths, and refrigerators. They all have large picture windows and the cabins on the Platinum Deck have balconies. The level of service and quality of food on board are good.
