Overview: originally buit for heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post and financier E. F. Hutton in 1931, Sea Cloud was at one time the largest private sailing ship ever built. In the 30s and 40s, Sea Cloud was host to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Sweden's King Gustavus V. She was re-built in 1998 and today provides one of the most intimate and luxurious enivronments available on a sailing ship. The quality of the food and service onboard are very good.
