Overview: she is the largest ship in the fleet but still carries only 110 guests in her 62 outside cabins. She originally entered service in 1966 as a fish processing vessel named Marbur. She was converted to an expedition ship in the early 1982 and joined the Lindblad Expeditions fleet in 1994 when she was extensively refurbished for Lindblad Expeditions. She originally sailed for Lindblad Expeditions under the name Caledonian Star. She is small enough to go where large ships couldn't possibly venture, yet large enough to operate in remote environments in comfort.
The fleet of Zodiac landing craft carried on board extends the Endeavour's reach even further, allowing you to venture off the ship almost anywhere, at a moment's notice. They are one of the keys to the Lindblad Expeditions style of travel. You'll also find sea kayaks for our guests' use, for quiet personal exploration in the remote places we go.
Each cabin is furnished, with lower beds, a private toilet, sink and shower, mirrors, reading lights and plenty of space to hang and store clothing. There is a sound system for announcements, news and music. Each cabin has individual climate controls.
The Endeavour is fully stabilized and the level of service and quality of food on board is good.
