Itinerary: Mediterranean
After reading the reviews prior to going on this cruise with
Airtours Suncuises, we were anxious to say the least. But after spending 1
fun filled fantastic week on board we were totally satisfied, with every
aspect of the cruise.
When we got onto the coach to leave the carousel,it was so quiet, you could
hear a pin drop.
My wife started to cry, I was gutted, nobody wanted to leave.
Good Job Airtours...
All public areas have been recently refurbished.
And are fitted to a good standard.
Early riser,breakfast,elevens's,lunch,afternoon
tea,dinner,midnight buffet.
All buffets are of a high standard.
Restaurant service was of the highest standards, with a team of assistant
waiters, waiters head waiters and wine waiters to serve you, in between
dancing and singing playing the guitar and showing of their skills at
origami.
Hygiene is of the highest standards I have ever seen.
Cabin space was a little bit cramped, especially the shower.
But I am 6ft 2" and rather wide.
All the interior of ship is air conditioned, including cabins.
We attended most shows, and were impressed with the quality
and variety. The carousel cast worked extremely hard to entertain us.
We booked 4 out of 5 excursions. Stopping at
Civitavecchia--Vatican city..Genova--Portofino..Villefranche--Monte
Carlo..Barcelona.
After doing three of these four trips, discovered that it was far more
relaxing to do our own thing,we had a wonderful day out at monte carlo.
There is a pool which is perfectly adequate for dipping, but is too small to
swim in.
We are a family of 5. Adults early forties,kids of 11, 14, 15. If
you are sociable, you will have a good time.
The people that were seated with us for dinner, were perfectly friendly, the
first time we met, and within no time we were laughing and joking together.
There are people from all walks of life. No snobbery.
