Overview
Good value for money where food and service is concerned. Friendly atmosphere. Poor entertainment.Sleeping in is not possible due to constant announcements.Strong smell of rotting sewage in pockets of the ship which was constant throughout trip. Perfect for budget travellers who like to eat and are not too fussy.

Public Areas
Public areas were mostly clean and comfortable but not smart and stylish. Pool is small and uninviting but the kids enjoyed it(the water was changed every day). The casino is small with limited gaming tables. Plenty slot machines.

Food and Service
One could eat from morning to midnight around the ship and the standard surprisingly high. 2 special midnight buffets were laid on in a 7 day trip which were spectacular. The malaysian catering and waiting staff worked extremely hard to please us. Service was always with a genuine smile. The rest of the staff tried hard to please but with limited resources.

Cabins
Our cabin was small and oppressive with thin sagging mattresses but very clean. Sound insulation poor (earplugs a godsend). We had serious sewage smell problems in our bathroom (cabin A137) which never let up and worsened while docked. Shower cubicle not suitable for the larger build.

Entertainment
Entertainment was rather lame but the cruise staff always tried hard under the circumstances (except the dance teacher)

Activities
This is a trip for budget travellers so do not expect too much. There is no health club but there is a sauna and a young overworked beautician who doesn't have much to work with. there are a few step machines and loose weights in a glass room on the top deck. The pool is the wrong shade of green but they did change the water every day. It's small.

Who Goes
Passengers were mostly middle aged couples on a budget but all very friendly. Most singles were found to be travelling with their parents. Mostly British and Scandinavian.
