Providing you realise that the cabins are cramped and their decor is from the 1970's, you will have a superb time. The food and service are better than any hotel I have ever been in.
Pool small! Decor in lounges is dated. Bar prices are the same as in the pub. Well organised dining and entertainment programmes. TAKE SEA SICKNESS PRECAUTIONS in advance as in Winter, it can get rough.
Only one word to describe the food......Superb!!!!!
I am 6' tall, 17 stone plus. The shower and toilet was an experience. I managed though. Remember what you pay for, it is not the cabin......go out and enjoy the experience, don't stay in. Having said that, It was comfortable enough.
Holiday camp entertainment, magician and comedienne excellent.
The wine tasting excursion was so poor we did not even get to taste any wine as we were so rushed. The Madeira excursion was...sh*t, mainly due to the German speaking guide. I had to translate for her at times. Christmas day in Gran Canaria was great, sunshine....cold beer...christmas trees....surreal.
50-50 Brits and Scandinavians. And some Welsh! (wife included) We met some great people. The oldies were so funny, a lot of them on their own, but with so much life in them that young folk like myself got on well with them. Scando women......'nuff said.
