Itinerary: Mediterranean
Overall we thought that our cruise was superb. we intend to do it again next year and we would highly recommend the Sunbird.
The decks were very very clean and most days staff were cleaning them. inside was nicely furbished and everywhere was very hygienic.
The Seven Seas Restaurant was excellent. The food was not that sophisticated but delicious and nicely decorated. The Lido Cafe was very convenient when you were just back on board and the food was excellent as well. The waiters in both restaurants were very friendly and they would even give you roses made from napkins and little tiny paper animals.
Our cabin was on the B deck and at the front. You could not hear the ships engines but sometimes you could hear your neighbours because the walls are thin. the cabin was very clean and the cabin stewards are more than helpful. The bathroom could have had a better decor and the shower would keep adjusting to warm or cold by itself. There was enough wardrobe space but there could have been more drawers.
The shows on board were first class and the entertainers were excellent.
The itinerary was excellent but the shore excursions were quite expensive.
The first week our table buddys were very friendly although we have not kept in touch. The second week our table mates were lovely and so were the boys.
