Itinerary: Mediterranean
This is an excellent ship, whether for a fist time cruiser like myself or if you have tried the more costly cruise liners you may be pleasantly suprised at this stunning boat.
The entertainment was absolutely brilliant especially the artist Danny Walten, he was superb. The bars and areas never appear crowded and the pool due to this ship being mainly teenagers plus is never overcrowded by children.
Food, any time of the day, if you want it you can have it. Food was excellent and there was a wide selection of wines and champagnes to wash down your meal in the restaurant. The cafe offered a wide selection of fruits collected daily from each port of call.
I had a Basic Inside cabin, and considering there was 3 adults in our cabin it was quite adequate. After all it is only needed to sleep in.
Danny Walten I would say was the best entertainer, but the cruises staff produced excellent performances and shows. Luke and Sam were great with their ballroom and Latin American Dancing.
Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Lucca, Monaco, Rome. The health club was not very big but I suppose with the hot sunshine outside who would really want to be in. The swimming pools were lovely and warm although the best of salt was offptting.
There were not many people my age (17) on this ship and I would say not may children either. I made friend with one person but we did not swap addresses due to lack of time.
I am going again this year (2000) but instead of one week for two!
