An absolute dream holiday where we were treated like royalty. The staff made us feel extremely special and 30 years younger. The whole of the crew were very friendly and we really know we have had a holiday due to their hard work on a 24/7 basis. We cannot wait until the next visit. Have entered the free cruise draw and are hoping to be lucky!!!!
We liked the oklahoma - very comfortable, great atmosphere, hub of the activities. Great atmosphere in Clipper Bar with Ttrevor O'neill. Oasys band absolutely fabulous. Pool was great at midnight - casino good on the nights we were winning!! Restaurant was first class and beyond! Purser service excellent. Room service and cabin stewards superb and they had a big job on their hands in our cabin!"**
We preferred the waiter service. Alan, Dennis and Eugene Bijay and Ronnie who sings were among our favourites. They gave outstanding service to table 5 for the whole 2 weeks to the party girls from England. Nothing was too much trouble and we plan to return as soon as possible. They should all get extra bonuses each and every one of them.
For a normal person there was enough space but Maggie trashed it daily but Najan and Sahad just laughed and cleared up after her daily. We are sure it was "burgled" by the same gorilla that messed our hair up in the night to cause us bad hair days! Needless to say we tipped our cabin stewards at the beginning of the week and at the end!!!!!
Oasys were the best band we have seen in years. We attended most shows. Were pretty disappointed with Kathy North. She had a good voice but dragged out her act with very depressing personal stories which did not go down too well with a lot of people. We found her quite boring. The Welsh girl Diane cousins was absolutely brilliant. Tucker and Taffy were excellent.
We ate a lot and drank even more. joined in all the dancing. played golf!!!! Danced all night either in the Oklahoma or in Neptunes and were frequently last out as I am sure most will remember. We went on the dolphin experience. unfortunately due to bad weather, we were unable to dock on two ports but hopefully next time we will visit these places. Beach bbq on Catalina was a wonderful day as were they all. Costa Meyer was a slice of paradise. Santa Domingo we just danced in the street with the locals. Cuba not quite so appealing. However we did manage to shop in every port quite successfully. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! didnt try the health part gym/sauna - WE WERE ON HOLIDAY
****** Hair salon was excellent.
The ones on our table will be friends for a long time. Met a lot of people whom we intend to keep in touch. We also met some extremely hard to please people unfortunately from England who we would have liked to put on the tenders the days we were not able to dock. Oh and leave them there bobbing!
