Had a great time. The staff was terrific. The food was excellent. The cabins are small - to be expected on a ship but when we go again, we would try to get an upgrade to a
suite so we had more elbow room.
My husband & I visited the piano bar every night before and after dinner. This was a great spot to have a relaxing drink and meet other passengers in a comfortable setting.
We also went to the casino daily for some excitement then went to the "Map Lounge" for drinks and conversation before bed. Wonderful times were had at all 3 locations.
Food was fantastic ! There was alot to choose from each evening. I am a fussy eater and not once did I leave hungry. In fact, I gained about 5 lbs. during the week on board.
The staff on board are all terrific. They are friendly, helpful and always available to help
We upgraded to an outside cabin with a window. However, the room was still very small. My husband and I are both almost 6 ft tall which made shower time very uncomfortable. The beds also were too small for us and the walk area was very limited. The rooms however were quiet and always kept clean by our stewart. I would next time get a larger cabin.
We only went to the comedian show. It was fabulous.
We went to St.Lucia, Barbados, Dominique, Tortola and St. Maarten. We went on tours via the ship at most ports. We also went on our own, walking through the ports at Barbados, and St.Maarten. Both methods worked out well. I think our favorite spot wase Barbados - my husband went scuba diving while I was at the beach prior to going for a walk around the port. St. Maarten was also fabulous - especially the shopping. I wished we could have had an extra day there. We spend most of our time walking around shopping so we did not get a chance to really see much of the island and meet the local people.
We usually went to the pool at the end of the day - before dinner to relax. The deck area is very nice and was kept clean. The staff had activities you could be a part of or you could just relax and work on a tan.
We met some really great people on our cruise. One couple,
we still talk to via email fairly regularly. In fact, we are discussng getting together to go on another cruise soon.
