I have no hesitation in saying that this was my idea of heaven!
The whole 7 days on board were magnificent. The ship is an older one, but
well looked after, and the staff give 100%.
What an experience! Amazing!
All the public areas were well looked after, and each had it's own niceness.
The food was marvelous - well presented and served. The waiters were fabulous with my daughter (a picky eater!). The midnight buffets were fantastic, and the pool side buffets were excellent.
We were lucky enough to have a large cabin on the main deck right
at the front. The only drawback was that the anchor was right outside our
window, so we were always the first to know we were arriving in port - but
that was also an advantage when arriving at the Panama Canal, and managing
to gain an excellent viewing site! The bathroom was small, but everyone
managed well.
We enjoyed the days so much - and started them so early that
we didn't get to see many shows. The talent contest though that we did see
was fun.
We used the Kids Club, and my daughter (aged 10) had a
marvelous time! It was available at times during the day, and then in the
evening straight after dinner.
The pool area is lovely, and the kids area is great too. Being a little
choppy the one day, the kids had a marvelous time in the waves that were
created.
Unfortunately, we live in Canada and our fellow table-mates were
from Yorkshire. We got on well with them, and all other passengers we came
into contact with.
