Itinerary: Mediterranean
Attractive destinations blessed with good weather for time of year, let down by short duration of most port visits.
Public areas good but pool disappointing.
Restaurant meals very good and served by excellent staff.
Arrangements for casual meals and snacks disappointing.
The constant noise and vibration let the whole cruise down.
A section of the ship centred close to A DECK Cabin 145 was
badly affected by noise/vibration. (Probably caused by adjacent machinery activity). Several passengers complained and were moved. Doors rattled and drawers had to be jammed with paper/clothes to prevent them opening. Unacceptable Hazard but accepted by ships staff as "normal" Alternative offered was not satisfactory and consequently we suffered! On arrival back, we found it necessary to report the conditions prevailing to the Port Health Authority
Good mainly but acoustics detracted from some excellent acts.
Barcelona was the gem, but most other ports were good too.
An excellent variety, young and old. Many friendships were formed
