Itinerary: Caribbean - Eastern
We went on the Century for the Millenium cruise with two other couples. We were somewhat disappointed that the ship was not glitzy. However, after only a few hours that didn't matter at all. The ship has a subdued elegance, great service, superb food. We were all surprised that the entertainment was so good. We are planning our next one and are afraid that the ship we pick won't come close to the wonderful nine days we all experienced. Top notch.
The pool area was very comfortable and seemed to have a lot going on. We spent a lot of time at the casino, although it could have been larger.
The food and service in the main dining room was 5 star. The midnight buffets on the deck were great with different theme nights. Their "gourmet bites" were excellent and served with the white glove treatment.
Our cabin was very comfortable with so much storage space that we couldn't use it all. All six of us bragged about the terrific shower head. We were never bothered with any noise at all.
The Century Singers & Dancers were "top notch". We have never had entertainment that good on any other cruise.
There were always plenty of activities on board. It was impossible to try to see and do it all. The health club was good and we never had trouble getting on the equipment. We were on the Eastern Caribbean cruise and had the great ports of St. Thomas, St. Martin, San Juan and Nassau.
Did not really get to know anyone that well since we were with our own group.
