Without doubt one of the best ships we have sailed on. The staff were absolutely first class and their attention to detail faultless. Excellent entertainment far superior to anything experienced before. Perhaps too many sea days but overall a great cruise.
The lounge areas were very comfortable and offered great variety for our needs from Martini bar to Rendezvous lounge for dancing. Thoroughly enjoyed Michael's bar great entertainer in Perry Grant. The Solarium therapy pool was superb. The Casino was too smoky for us and not our scene.
We found the food to be of a high standard with plenty of variety and very good standard of service. Special nights were excellent with a highly skilled presentation of food both above and below decks.
Our cabin looked out onto the prow and the Helicopter deck and it was huge. The fittings and the decor were of a very high standard and it really was home from home. Spacious and refined and yes there was ample room in the large bathroom area. This superb room was the cherry on the cake for us.
Brilliant entertainment every night the stage shows were fabulous and so highly professional. Enjoyed the bands in various locations around the ship and could not fault anything that was offered.
Little to old now for active exercise but the people capable of such things had the very best on offer a sports centre that was second to none we only wish we had been young enough to have taken advantage of it all.
A nice variety from Swedes to Australians I would invite them to our home but not one couple who purposely missed the last night so as to avoid giving the staff their gratuities.
