Itinerary: Bermuda
This was our second time on Celebrity and 3rd time to Bermuda. We were humiliated. Bermuda authorities came on board and asked to search our cabin for drugs. It was so called a random search - the only people "randomly" searched were passengers/crew members of certain ethnicity. They had me, my husband and my daughter leave the cabin so they could search for drugs. My 12 year old daughter was traumatized by this event. They had no reasonable cause to search our cabin and Celebrity never informed the passengers that this was a possibility. We will never travel with Celebrity again nor will we go to Bermuda. We later learned by one of Celebrity's crew members that Bermuda has been having a problem with drugs and as such the red flag goes up when people from Dominican Republic, Columbia or Jamaica visit Bermuda. My husband has a Dominican passport. We consider this racial profiling and we believe that Celebrity should not have allowed any such search without asking if they had a reasonable cause. Celebrity never showed any empathy to our situation when we complained of our humiliation and acted as if we were "a bother".
Small boat so some areas get to crowded. When special events are held at the bars they can't hold the number of people who attend. Forced to stand in many cases.
Food is good although it was much better when we first took Celebrity in 2000
Bathroom is not really made for a full size person.
Good. Excellent comedian.
Activities were okay. They did have one activity that seemed like it could get out of hand - violent where people sit on a pole over the pool and hit each other with a noodle type piece.
In 2000 the crowd was great. This go around there were lots and lots of teenagers and they really didn't have enough fun activities for the teenagers.
