Itinerary: Bermuda
This was our first cruise as a family. We had a ball. Our waiter on board was wonderful, he made our trip even more enjoyable. We had such a great time, we are going again this summer and bringing more people with us. The beaches were spectacular. Leaving from Manhattan was a pleasure, you board the ship and your vacation begins.
The ship is comfortable. You can be with people if you want to or find a nice romantic spot to be alone. We went for cocktails every night before dinner in the lounge upstairs, the view is great. The pool area has lounge chairs with comfortable blue cushions, where you can always find some shade. There is plenty of entertainment.....and those midnight buffets...WOW
Food was good all around. Deck buffet was nice.
Our cabin was comfortable....we had an outside cabin with a window.I'm a woman so there is never enough closet space for me !! I loved that you could watch the front of the ship on the TV in your cabin.
We didn't go see any of the shows on the ship, we intend to this time around. The only show we did see was the passenger talent show......and it was GREAT. Our children who never participate were in it........it was really nice.
Upon our arrival in Bermuda we hopped on a horse and buggy ride. We were driven around Bermuda and saw much of the Island. We visited the beaches..........Horse Shoe Bay beach a MUST SEE ! We went to the crystal caves, they were really interesting....and shopping shopping shopping.
We went on a snorkeling excursion.......the fish were beautiful, can't wait to get back there.
All the people on the ship were nice, polite and friendly.
You can always find someone to chat with or just relax if you want to. My kids made many new friends, in fact they stayed in touch over the internet...they didn't want this vacation to end........I think that says it all!
