This is the best....Cruising with Carnival is better than staying
in a hotel! Do not stay in a hotel on land! The ship sailed and you could
not feel it! We were able to talk to crew members whether they were cabin
stewards, casino managers, galley crew, pursers and waiters and thought it
just wonderful that we could ask them their experiences...Carnival is well
run, very organized, very customer orientated and just PLAIN FUN, and MORE
FUN! I've been telling everyone in my office and the people that I audit
and as a result I believe that there are two different groups trying to
organize a cruise on THE FUN SHIP!
Thanks also to the captain who high tailed it out of the coast of Aruba on
Friday night just before the earthquake in Peru he did a fantastic job and
one would not have known the possible perils that we might have encountered.
GOOD JOB CAPTAIN!!! and THANKS CARNIVAL CRUISE FOR ANOTHER FUN AND WONDERFUL
TRIP!
The public areas were so nice that at least every day me and
four other girlfriend found a lounge chair, took turns buying each other
drinks and GUESS WHAT! I was able to read TWO HARRY POTTER books! This is
an accomplishment, since I have not read a book in approximately 10 years!
I did not really care for the appetizers in the main dining
room. I guess that I am too Americanized! Used to having the more everyday
casual items...chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, stuffed mushroom...the
dining room appetizers were very European or high class...It left you
hungry, but then again you were able to order the DESSERT! THE COFFEE WAS
ALSO THE BEST!
Initially the cabin had an odor and the bed was not entirely made...and the bed was pushed together, I separated the bed since there were two of us in the rooms and requested and received additional room service, i.e. the beds were made and an air freshener was provided. After this, the room was always clean...NEED TO KEEP TWO BLANKETS IN THE ROOM AS SPARES...IT TOOK 4 HOURS TO RECEIVE A SPARE BLANKET...
The shows were EXCELLENT!
ST. THOMAS we had a PAINKILLER...GREAT DRINK TOOK TWO HOURS AND PLENTY OF FOOD TO FINISH ONE DRINK
ANTIGUA did not like...the country is too poor and feel really bad just wanted to get back aboard the ship
GUADELOUPE...NICE GLASS BOTTOM BOAT VISIT TO THE BEACH JUST OUT OF THIS WORLD
ARUBA..BUILT UP SINCE THE LAST TIME WE WERE HERE (20 YEARS AGO) NICE AND RELAXING
Seven other People that I have grown up with...Since I have lost both my parents and grandparents they are like my family and yes we are planning to go on a cruise to the Mediterranean in two years...However, I will be cruising again with Carnival way before then!
