Overview
This has been my favorite vacation so far, then again, how can you go wrong when you get away from reality for Seven Nights? I'm so glad I managed to play hooky for a week of my college classes, it was worth all the extra studying I ended up doing! The ship was beautiful and the staff was excellent... no complaints. The only downer was a lack of single/ young people, because it was November, but we managed.

Public Areas
Each lounge was beautiful and had a style of its own. There were so many, I didn't even get to spend time in all of them! My Favorite place was the Mikado lounge/ Theater. There were nightly shows and activities there and it was a fun place to play hide and seek one night when the excitement in the dance club died down.

Food and Service
The food and service were excellent- The first night half the table ordered Cappucino with Cinnamon and each night after that it was brought to us without even having to request it. I never had to lift my water glass and find that it was empty, and there was always three or four amazing dishes being served (at the same time), especially dessert.

Cabins
This was by far the biggest cabin I've ever stayed in on a cruise ship. Closet space was the only thing that was a hassle, but mostly because of a lack of extra hangers. There were robes and extra blankets, along with the mint on the pillow each night. Every evening upon returning to the room there was a new "towel creature" waiting for us. That was one of the best parts! Shower size was fine, the toilet does make a little bit of a sonic boom when you flush it, but that is just part of being on a cruise ship!

Entertainment
I attended shows each night of the cruise ship! The cruise staff and entertainers were excellent. The cast of 18 for the musical revue shows was very impressive and the Social Hosts were great. There were tons of fun activities--I especially liked the game show---mostly because I won! Survivor was also fun, but it would have been better if more people had gotten to play that!

Activities
The game shows and other activities were tons of fun. I can't get enough "Ships on the Sea" or Carnival Medallions! The pool was awesome and so was the water slide--- it was my first time on a cruise with a water slide, I'm never going on another one that doesn't have a slide! It was great. The health club was nice, but I would have liked there to be more aerobics classes offered and at more hours of the day. We stopped at Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas, and Puerto Vallarta. I recommend senor frogs, even if you are not a drinker--I stayed sober and had a blast. A guy came around and made us hats out of balloons, we took home cute woven frog souvenirs for free. Lots of good jewelry shopping in town, but only if you're a good haggler!

Who Goes
The passengers were great. I didn't meet anyone from really close to home, but If I did, I would have kept in touch with them. I met a lot of interesting people! But it is as if I was brought to their homes, because I appeared in almost every night of the video diary!
