I would like to begin by saying I had an excellent time, no thanks to the crew aboard the Fantasy but because my husband and I can see through bad times and enjoy the good.
The Fantasy in no way could compare to the Sovereign of the Seas from Royal Caribbean.
Carnival was no cheaper than Royal Caribbean but yet did not offer any extras nor does it play in the same league.
We had 17 in our group so needless to say we made our own good time.
If you want to loose weight, never find the exercise room, receive no service, and live on a dirty ship for a few days, this is the cruise for you.
Hard to find your way around.
The dining room service was horrible (oh, did someone say there was waiters?) One hour and 15 minutes after we ordered our food we left, our water glasses were empty and no food in sight.
The Lido deck service was acceptable, the bucket of beers probably saved the day.
The rooms were dirty and moldy... Larger than Sovereign. But size does not matter when its dirty and moldy
Shows, oh yeah if you like to stay up until midnight... I decided to watch on TV the next day and was glad I went to bed. the Not so Newly Wed Game was a -10 compared to Royals 10.
Buckets of beers, and watching sunsets and sunrises.
A mixed bag of people. Good variety.
