Fantasy ship of Carnival line is great, easy to get around, the ship employees were great, could not do enough to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable.
The outdoor area is great, large sprawling decks with a great pool and spiral water slide. Many lounge chairs to relax in on the deck's. Just standing in the rotunda area watching the elevators going up and down is great. The spa and jogging track deck is one of the best outdoor area's on the ship.
Dining rooms were excellent and our waiter and his helper were the best. There were many items on the menu each night, for us to choose from. Each night the waiters would entertain us with singing and dancing. The food was always prepared excellent, and the relaxing restaurant on the deck served as casual dining, where you can enjoy fresh salads and entrees on their buffet daily.
Our cabin was category 6, ocean view, very spacious , with lots of closet space to hang your things, plus a nice desk area. Ocean view cabins have terry cloth robes to use while on board also which is another plus. Shower area was full size and you always received clean towels 2 times a day.
You could not hear much noise in the halls during the night it was rather quiet.
The entertainment was great, we especially liked the Las Vegas Review, and the entertainers are top notch, great dancers and singers. The bands that entertained you up on deck were great along with the orchestra for your nightly shows in the theater. The two levels of viewing area seating makes it great for enjoying the shows.
During the day the cruise staff along with the tour director entertain everyone all day long with different activities.
The ports we stopped at were Freeport and Nassau. The new port area in Freeport is great, there are many shops right their to shop at. In Nassau there is more to do off the ship as it is docked their for 24 hrs, so there are many tours from the ship, and you can walk to the straw markets and shops in the small town. Remember if you book a tour from the ship, they are run by independent contractors from the islands , and if you have a problem or concern, you may voice it to the Purser's Desk and they will gladly take care of it for you.
We saw lots of children on board, but they were kept busy during the day at sea with activities for their age group, or they just enjoyed being by the pool being entertained by the crew with activities for young and old.
At the night we were in port, the crew had some contests up on deck by the pool, lots of people enjoyed them, weather dancing or just watching .
The galley and bridge tour is something everyone should try to see , along with the ice sculpting on the pool deck and the napkin folding and fruit carving is also something not to miss.
Of the 2000 guests on this ship, everyone was enjoying themselves and we saw no trouble at all during our cruise. Everyone we would meet on deck or in the public areas were very friendly.
