Very bargain bin cruising even though we booked one of the ten suites on this ship. Good for a first time experience so you can go up from there cruising on any other ship.
Public areas were crowded plastic chairs and plastic wobbly tables. Pool was very small, casino probably the most fun.
Food was average, dinner was always better. Buffet food lacked a lot so we are a lot of pizza and ordered blt's to the room. Our waiter and bus boy were great and the maitre'd was very accommodating in our seating preference.
We booked 1 of 10 suites on the ship. Worth the extra money for the balcony: however, if you book a suite on this ship do not book V1 or V2. We unfortunately we were in V2 with a staircase from the deck below right against the rail of our balcony which was also an arms length to a public observation area. Needless to say we could hardly enjoy leaving our curtains open because of people staring into our room as they ascended the stairs and hung out on the observation decks left side. No privacy. Again, the bargain bin prices attract bargain bin people who are extremely disrespectful to our privacy.
Entertainment was above average, staff was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed playing bingo even though we never won!
I had been to these ports several times in the past and opted to book our own shore excursions which saved lots of money and time.
Once again, although there was one other couple in the suite next to us we found nice, this is an economy cruise so don't expect to find common courtesy among the majority of the class of people on this cruise.
