Itinerary: Caribbean - Western

Overview
The Jubilee has had engine vibration problems since 1998 and have NOT done anything to fix it. Avoid this ship!

Public Areas
Smokers were everywhere. In hallways, in elevators, etc. You could not walk from the casino through the hallway to the Oz Disco without choking. Pool was small and water slide was always closed.

Food and Service
Lido deck food was better than the formal dining room. And you could get a cup of coffee faster there! Usually took 30 minutes or longer to get coffee with meals in dining room. Sometimes it didn't come at all. And one passenger bit into raw chicken!

Cabins
Cabin vibrated from engine problems the Jubilee has had for years. Couldn't sleep. Bed shook all the time and loud roaring noise could always be heard. And we were on the Upper deck! Imagine the poor people on the decks below us! Cabin Steward did poor job - when he showed up at all.

Entertainment
Shows in lounge area were good but the band called Music Forever - which played in lounges and on Lido deck - was horrid!!! Didn't even know words to the songs they were trying to sing! My brother's garage band sounded better!

Activities
Playa De Carman and Cozumel were the saving graces on this trip! Had my hair braided downtown Playa for a LOT LESS than I could get it at home. Did the Dolphin Encounter in Cozumel and LOVED it! Spent almost an hour in the water with the Dolphins. Activities on board were non-existant. Bored on the "Fun At Sea" days. Jubilee lacks that special feeling.

Who Goes
Few couples were nice but rest were all drunks. What do you expect though when there's nothing to do on board???? We nick-named this cruise the Booze Cruise because all they wanted to do was sell their mixed drinks to you.
