With this being a first cruise I've taken in a couple of years, I had a great time on the MS Carnival Legend. The entire staff I interacted with was pleasant, helpful and nice. Always smiling and trying their best to help you.
We enjoyed the enchanted forest area since there was much foot traffic and you could read in relative peace and quiet. The Medusa's lounge was fun as well. It had great decorations and a 20 foot wall for displaying video's while you were dancing or drinking.
The food and service were excellent. Or server's were always there right before you thought about getting a refill or to ask a question. The food was delicious and we never left the table hungry.
The stateroom cabin had plenty of space or 2 adults with 4 full cabinets to hang clothes and plenty of drawer space as well. The bathroom and shower were spacious as well.
We took in 1 of the shows while on the ship. We didn't pay attention at the time when we grabbed a seat but we were camped under a speaker...a bose speaker at that. If we were on the balcony level to view the show, I feel we'd have enjoyed it better since the sound was a little loud being right under it.
Carnival does a great job trying to keep the kids busy doing different activities so that adults can enjoy themselves without having to worry about kids running around the pool all the time. I'm glad this is a service they provide, for those with kids and those without.
On our cruise, we had the usual diverse group. The couple we sat with at dinner helped make our cruise even more enjoyable. So yes, I'd at least invite them over to dinner after the cruise.
