Itinerary: Caribbean - Western
The ship was very clean, the staff very efficient & friendly. Great for their clubs & nightlife.
Public rooms clean, comfortable, roomy. Good place to listen to music & meet your fellow passengers.
The Bacchus restaurant was good, staff excellent, decor YIPES attack of the POD people. Horatio Buffet goood choices, decent food, good coffee. Plus very clean. Room service though limited good & service was fast.
Had a balcony room on the Veranda Deck. Comfortable, bed was very comfortable, enough closet & drawer space. Bathroom was good for one person, liked the shower. Very little noise, Steward was very good.
Lenny Holliday & his staff was friendly, funny & fun. Beatles Show was excellent. Shows were good. The Clubs were very good.
You do as much & as little you want. You generally say what do we do now, because there is so much going on. We went to Grand Cayma, Costa Maya, Belize, & Cozemal. I recommend taking the tours at the dock area, same as the ship & much cheaper.
People of all ages who like a nightlife past 11 P.M. will like Carnival. The people were of all nationalities & ages. Everybody leaves their problems ashore & put on their cruise personalities. You will always meet people you will want to see again. I think that the Spirit Class Ships are comparable to Royal Caribbean, & the only Carnival Ships I will go on. I was on 4 Carnival Cruise, 2 on the Spirit Class Ships.
