Itinerary: Caribbean - Western
This cruise was our families first. We were amazed by the friendly staff and how hard they worked to make it a fun experience. We felt very comfortable. They never let us down on any request and smiled as they preformed their duties.
The public areas were clean and other than the first meal at the Seaview Bar and Grill it seemed quite spacious (everyone was hungry when we finally got on board). We tried to do as much as possible and did not have a special favorite unless it would have been setting on the Lido deck after dinner enjoying the breeze and some conversation with other guest.
The food exceeded our expectations our waiters in the Fantasy Dining Room kept us coming back with their great service and pleasant demeanor.
Our cabin was the place we slept and stored our belongings we had plenty of room for both. Our closets held everything we had with room left over (we were only on a five day cruise) the bathroom was larger than most other hotel and motels we have stayed in. We slept well and we do not remember noise being any problem.
We attended several shows and our group of amateur dancers even preformed on the stage in the Fantasia Lounge. We meet some of the Dancers and the people who worked in other regards to make the show happen and they were first rate.
We most enjoyed the friendly smiling people who we seemed to see and meet everywhere we went passengers and crew alike. While at port we did not try to do to much so we could enjoy what we experiencing both in Grand Cayman and Cozumel. We did not use the Camp Carnival service but we saw many a smiling child singing in line behind their Counselors. We did us the pool on Lido with the slide and it was just large enough to get in cool off and return to our lounge chairs.
While we were busy meeting fellow passenger we only remembered first names and where they were from we did not think about the cruise ending. So we will know next time to carry pen and paper for those addresses so we may at least let them know we arrived home safely. Many we wish could live closer so we could visit but maybe that is what allowed us to have fun, knowing we could be ourselves without the fear of make a fool of ourselves and having to be reminded.
