What a disappointment. This is a very ornate ship that is not run very well. We have cruised on Costa before and enjoyed the Victoria. I wondered how many corners Costa cut on this cruise.
The ship has many wonderful small lounges. However, the passengers didn't obey the non smoking areas and that was a problem. There was a variety of entertainment mainly bad. The ship boasts a wonderful slide that was open a grand total of 3 hours the whole trip. The pools seemed very congested and lounge chairs were at a premium.
The staff was lovely and attentive after the first day. The policy of letting any who sit where every they wanted at Breakfast and Lunch created a service nightmare.
The cabin was lovely. We had a quad with a veranda and it was very spacious.
We went to a few shows--the jugglers and the Italian singer were very good.
The health club didn't have an area for class so the were held at the pool. There were very few classes on this ship. The children's counselors were very good and while they were not very many activities, our kids enjoy the programs.
The passengers were as varied as there nationalities. We always enjoy meeting different people and most of them were very friendly.
