Itinerary: Transatlantic
Entertainment was amateurish & actually booed at times. Disembarkment for excursions was disorganized.. Daily activities on board ship almost nonexistent. NON SMOKING rules were not enforced. People were allowed to smoke in casino and hallways to cabins. When told of this the ships crew said they could not do anything. WILL NEVER GO ON A COSTA CRUISE AGAIN.
Casino was ok, but SMOKING was allowed [cigars] and when there were complaints we were told that there was nothing that could be done about it.
Service was fine. The selection of food for Americans was rather limited and disappointing. The midnight buffet was horrible, it was in the Concord Plaza and there was no sitting or tables available.
Cabin was fine. There was enough closet space and the shower was ok .. The temperature of room was chilly and The temperature was not adjustable in the room.
We attended almost all the shows.. The entertainment was really bad, some were even booed & people walked out. None were done in English and there was no translation of what was being said. Not enough seating and many seats were saved and nothing was done to make room for older or handicap persons.
I would have like if there was movies while on board. There were no lectures on the port that we were going to visit. Disappointed that everything was closed on Sunday so our stop at Malaga Spain was a waste of time and money. The other stops were fine.
Our table passengers were fine, have gotten to see some since we are home. The Americans were seated with same and that was good. Met several other passengers that we got along with.
