Itinerary: South Pacific
The Cruise was good, with smooth sailing all the way. Something I really enjoyed and will always remember is the Royal Viking Sun.
My Favorite Deck was Norway Deck, because that had the most to do. The Garden Cafe was great and the pools were the coolest!
Food = Excellent all the time, but a little rich. Service = Brilliant, can't find any fault here!
The Royal Viking Dining Room was really nice, with a great atmosphere.
The Suite I was in was 434 on Pacific Deck. The Room was good, with a good-sized bathroom. Toilets were uncomfortable. It was a little noisy at the bottom, but the noise was a nice noise, of the engines, it helps put you to sleep, the humming....
Norway Lounge had a rather 'stuffy' atmosphere, but never the less, I liked the shows, we got to see juggling and some 'show time' shows. Cruise staff = 4/5 Entertainers = 5/5
The Golden Door Spa at sea was excellent, and although, you have to be 15
or over to use it (Which was ok for me as I was 16, but it meant my
13-year-old sister couldn't use it) it was still really fun for the rest of
the family. The Pools were great and I found lots to do on RVS, shopping and
reading and the Midnight Sun Lounge was the best room on the whole ship. {Hi
Jack and Karla, and the rest of the Staff in the Midnight Sun Lounge}
There were no other kids apart from my little brother and me. Not
a good ship for Children. Great for 30 + !! I gave the 5 stars on the
service and ship board activities, but, I don’t recommend her for families !
