Disney is known for their quality in entertainment. The Disney
Magic is the topping on the cake. She is a beautiful ship. Beautiful
artwork, staff with great people skills, and great rooms. Unique in
every way. Broadway quality shows, a real showpiece of a spa and lots of
over 18 years of age areas if the children bother you.
The real plus about the public areas is if its in the lounges
or one of the clubs a non-drinker is welcome. I was always ask if I needed
anything. My coffee was always accepted. The three pools were great and
the one for adults only was nice to have to take a break. I didn't use the
ESPN Bar but I heard pluses about it.
Entertaining, entertaining and then tasty too. The French
flair in Lumierie's wonderful. Animator's Pallet none finer at sea. Parrot
Cay had all the favorites. I didn't eat at Palo's. The buffet on deck in
Nassau was great and the special touch of the waiters roaming through the
lounge areas just incase you are hungary was a new one to me.
They were roomy and more furniture then we needed. The bed was
comfortable and the suitcases fit beneath it. the TV had camera angles
around the ship and a few good channels. The bathroom was surprisingly
spacious, the water pressure was awful. My husband is 6'1" and 260 he only
complained about the water pressure.
I saw all the shows. They were excellent. Broadway quality
and fun. The comedy club was rather dumb. The disco had a great band and
the easy listen lounge had a outstanding singer.
We stopped at Nassau (YUK) nasty place. Disney's island,
Castaway Cay, nice but it was too hot, 95+ and I retreated to the ship. I
found the spa and oh my lord, don't miss it. What a great place, especially
the Rain Forest. The kids programs kept the young ones busy and they all
seemed to be happy. My teenager sure was.
I met some great people and I hope they keep in touch. One couple
was in their 70's, they were really having a good time. Another couple were
30+ cruisers, they thought the ship was great too. The families with
children my daugther's age all seemed to be having a good time. My kid
is still e-mailing the friends she made.
