Itinerary: Bahamas
If you like waiting on lines and being herded around like cattle, then this is the cruise line to go on. Even if you spend $15,000 for the biggest stateroom on the ship (like we did)- you will be given no preferential treatment.
FORGET THE POOLS. Let me repeat that. FORGET THE POOLS. They are filled with every disgusting item you can imagine. I can literally make myself sick just thinking about what we saw floating around the pools on the Disney Magic. My 3 year old son is now sick from swallowing some of this water. Other common areas were decent except for the bathrooms by the pool area.
Buffet was horrible. Palo was great. Animators Palate was good. Lumiere's and Parrot Cay were okay.
We had the biggest room on the ship. We stayed in the Walter E. Disney Suite. We had a baby grand piano in the room and 5 televisions. Absolutely beautiful.
Entertainment was high quality and very well done. Some of the cruise staff did not speak English very well.
Health Club was nice. Child care and child activities were excellent. St. Martin was so-so. St. Thomas was nice. Castaway Cay was nice but no Bahamian merchandise or shops to peruse.
No...let's just leave it at that.
