Overview
The easyCruise operation is bringing the low cost airline model to the high seas, stripping out all the frills and offering a basic sleep and sail service between close ports. The style of operation is closer to a ferry than a cruise ship. This is not recommended for those who enjoy meeting people on cruises since there are no occasions when passengers are together.

Public Areas
The ship has 3 main public areas, a chain coffee shop, a chain sports bar, an outdoor bar/ jacuzzi and a sundeck. All are very basically fitted with wipe clean style furnishings and no glitz/ glamour at all.

Food and Service
The staff were extremely pleasant. No food is included in the cruise fare. However you can purchase paninis and some bar food onboard

Cabins
In 2 words, tiny and ill thought out. No storage drawers, just 4 hangers. There are no beds, just matresses on an orange platform. The bathroom is an enlarged shower tray with frosted glass walls, which floods when you use the shower unless the ship is listing in a favourable direction. Cabin walls are paper thin and the lack of any carpet or noise deadening doors/ materials means that you get to sleep when the last passenger shuts up!

Entertainment
A DJ operates in the bar most evenings and there is some music on deck at the deck bar. Given how well this carries over the whole ship you might as well join in!

Activities
easyCruise have some fantastic itineraries visiting close ports in playgrounds of the rich and famous. This particular one along the Italian and French Rivieras includes Nice, Monaco, Cannes, St Tropez, Genoa, Imperia and San Remo. The itinerary is designed to sail over breakfast until lunchtime with the rest of the afternoon and night in port. Most passengers spend their whole time ashore. Beware of tender ports. Low cost operations meant tenders only every 2 hours on my cruise. There are no onboard activities but some excursions are available to purchase onboard.

Who Goes
Wide range from backpackers to people looking for a relaxing mini trip. The itinerary means that you can begin the cruise at any port, resulting in a fresh crop of passengers daily.
