Itinerary: Caribbean
I've sailed aboard the Britanis twice, and both times they were very good. The crew was professional and kept to the atmosphere (far better than the massive disappointment that Carnival was two years later). The ship was the perfect size. My only complaints were that you couldn't eat but at only a few times per day, you had to go to a public room to use your electric hair dryer, and that the drink card system was very restrictive (well, I was 11 at the time, still didn't like the fact that water was the only thing I could ask the bartender for).
Quite comfortable. A little small in some places, but overall good.
Excellent, all excellent. Once again, the only problem being that you could only eat at certain times of the day.
For a boat of it's size, the rooms were adequate. I don't recall the closet space size, but the bathrooms were small! A full size person could fit in the shower (but I wouldn't try to fit Jabba the Hutt or anyone significantly bigger in there). It wasn't very noisy, although must take into consideration that my cabin was towards the bow.
It was a special-purpose cruise, therefore all of the entertainment was 'imported' and none of the ships entertainers were involved.
1st Cruise - (1991) Key West, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel
2nd Cruise - (1993) Jamaica, Cayman Islands
We already had acquaintances with the fellow passengers.
