I loved it! The crew spoke english but were European. A mixed crowd that provided a true European experience. French, Italian, Germans and a few Americans were the mis. Happy crew, great food and service. The officers mingled with the passengers which gave a very warm atmosphere. I would recommend over Costa. The ship looked great! Clean and Fresh. Small cabins.
This is an old NCL ship, I thought it would be run down. I was wrong! She was fresh with new carpet and furniture. Not one area was old or worn out. She looked like a newly rebuilt ship. A very big surprise.
The food and service was equal to Celebrity cruises (which is known for the best food afloat).
It was the traditional small cabin before the age of mega ships. Cabin size approximately 140 sq. ft. Enough room for clothes and luggage but not spacious. Reminiscent of a RCCL cabin.
Cruise staff were everywhere. Very friendly. They did different activities in French, German and English. Very entertaining. It had small ship entertainment...bands, comedians, magic acts, etc...very good.
The shore excursions offered were the same as what Holland America and Princess would use. Everything was handled for us. Prices were average.
Our fellow passengers were very nice and ranged in age from mid forties to mid fifties.
