Golden Sun Cruises

MS Arcadia

Your Rating:One Star
Reviewed by:P. Williams
# previous cruises: 4
Date of Trip: August 24, 1999
Itinerary: Mediterranean

Overview
I had a terrible experience on the MTS Arcadia!! The immediate crew members were very disrespectful, the waiters were talking about passengers among themselves in their language and very unsanitary and impatient, children were gambling in the casino and were allowed to sit at the bar, and the rooms were very small. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Public Areas
There are no activities for children except to run around the ship, gamble or sit at the bar and order virgin drinks and pretend to be adults. The pool is the size of a large bathtub and you can't do much swimming due to the fact the boat moves so much. NO HANDICAP FACILITIES!!!

Food and Service
The food tasted better toward the end of the cruise. Breakfast was terrible. The waiters were disrespectful and very unsanitary.

Cabins
The cabin was a closet and there is no place to really store luggage except under the bed and hopefully your suitcase is slim enough. The bathroom is half the size of a closet. If your a petit size you can take a shower w/o wetting the whole bathroom.

Entertainment
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ One show a night which they encourage everyone to attend. They have to try and split the passengers up not everyone can pile up in the casino w/ 10 slots and 2 tables.

Activities
NO CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES!! Only a library w/ games in Greek language and a VCR which you had to pay to rent a tape. No on board activities during the day only a show at night. The best part of the cruise was getting off and going on tours of the Greek islands.

Who Goes
The passengers all stayed within their cultures. Everyone was nice and friendly(passengers) and had a lot of dislikes about the cruise which was discussed 99% of the time.
