Itinerary: Mediterranean
I recently returned from a cruise aboard this ship in the Greek Islands, and I would have to say that it was very disappointing. The crew works hard, though many speak only a few words of english, the entertainment and food was good. But the ship has a bad smell, due to poor sewage system venting I believe, and it's advanced age shows in many ways. I visited the "midnight buffet" one evening only to be confronted at the door by the head waiter asking "what are you doing here, haven't you had dinner" no wonder there were only two other disgruntled passengers there. I know the price is low, but my advice would be to pay the extra and go on a better cruise line to have a much more positive experience. People I met on this ship who had never cruised before, said that they would never take another cruise again. Those who had something to compare it to knew how bad this ship was compared to almost everything else.
Dingy, but adequate.
Most people like the food.
I paid extra for an outside cabin, but the porthole cover was painted shut.
Entertainment was good, they worked their (shapely) butts off.
Most are in their 60's, this is not a young crowd.
Mostly Europeans and mostly over 40.
