Itinerary: Mediterranean
I had an excellent time. The younger people 16-25 banded together and some excellent bonds of friendship were born.I would like to extend a special thanks to "Eric" on the cruise staff for staying up into the wee hours to D.J. for us in the Horn Pipe Club. The food was excellent. Fresh salmon for room service available 24 hrs. a day. A 7 day cruise definitely was not long enough for me. Its not where you cruise to that makes the vacation it is the cruise ship itself.
The public areas a clean and refurbished. The main show
lounge works in the day, but fails as a show lounge with poor sight lines.
You need to stand to see the stage
Service was poor due to the Noordam being the training
ground for new HAL staff. The food service they were using in the Med was horrible. Frozen tasting
We had a category B and the cabin was a great size and very
comfortable. No safes though
Usually could not get a seat and I was not going to stand to see a show so I missed most of them. This is one crowded ship!
Usual shore excursions.
Younger group than usual on HAL. A nice lively group!
