Fabulous..Pushkin Palace was just as thrilling as the hermitage in St. Petersburg, do not miss, take public transp. tram in oslo, goes everywhere, bought 24 hr pass, for $5. great cruise, loved it all,and the food, superb, buffet choices were unbelievable, service great, and was able to hand-pick the menus each pm, for the next pm, (diabetic),the most accommodating personnel ever, omitted alcohol, butter, etc, and anything not on my diet was substituted with suitable replacement,,,,many to choose from, always sugar free desserts,,,many to pick from, ,they were very pleasant, did not have to ask them, they found me each pm....
All public areas were gorgeous,,inlaid marble floors, statues, artwork, just gorgeous, many places to sit alone and relax, loved the library, and lounges and various musical groups were excellent, all types of musicians everywhere, exercise rm. was a great view, every am, all glass , looking at a new harbor each am, plenty of places to walk to, beautiful appointments....
As mentioned before, all dining rms were excellent, food choices were great, buffet was splendid, so many choices, breakfast up there was fabulous,,,ice crm bar open afternoons, always a sugar free choice,service was excellent
Cabin was more than adequate, many closets, shower was roomy...very quiet in cabin
Very good cruise staff, entertainment was young troup, hard working, great costumes, effects, no bigstars like other lines, but enjoyable..
Helsinki, Tallin, St.Petersburg, Rostock, Oslo,etc,,, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany Russia, England, cruise was 1 way from Copenhagen to England, flew from NY, via Holland, to Copenhagen
All ages, they had children and activities for them, dinner mates were a couple in their 50's, and a brother and sister in their late 80's, well traveled,,he went up in a plane for 16 passgrs, they were a joy to be with, yes i would invite both couples over, the younger couple was from texas,,,ship had a lot of texans, having a great time, and a large mix of ages, ethnic backgrounds, etc,,,,
we always find nice people...
