Itinerary: Caribbean
Our third time on Rotterdam VI was for Xmas and Millenium cruises back 2 back. She was spectacular..btfl ship, friendly efficient crew and great food. One of our best cruises ever (out of about 35)
Ocean bar was just right for before dinner drinks, hors d' oeurves and dancing
Rotterdam dining is comfortable and well spaced with enough room between tables..well trained and friendly stewards. great food.
We had a full suite that was spectacular..jet tub and shower, dressing room w/ second sink in the dressing table w/ wonderful drawer storage and plenty of closet space. Large bedroom area and huge veranda.
We are not too big on going to the shows..only went for crew Christmas caroling and tree lighting.
Lido deck pool area is great with retractable dome. Love Holland America's private island..Santo Domingo great port.
Met all sorts of folks..half the fun. Because it was Holiday time, there were lots of families which is more unusual for HAL than some other lines.
