Loved Holland America-MS Ryndam. The crew made the trip what it
was-amazing. The only bad thing I can say about the ship is the poor
circulation of fresh air and the fact that some of the non-smoking areas
seemed to be full of toxic smoke! In this day and age, I was shocked to find
that this was allowed on such an elegant ship. I would love to travel with
Holland America again but, I would hesitate due to this fact-being that I
don't want to have to breath in others' smoke on 'my' vacation. Perhaps,
Holland America should consider making various rooms on the top decks for
smokers....then, allowing non-smokers the same privileges as the smokers!
The Piano Bar made the trip a blast.
(Smoke filled though)
Lido bar was OK. Dining rooms were excellent. Service made
it excellent.
Cabin was perfect, even though a little noisy.
Piano Bar with Sonia Marie...she rocks!
Loved the gym on board.
Perhaps, a shuttle to Meneghall Glacier so those who would like to hike on their own can do so without a guide.
Had great experiences with all the people we met.
