Itinerary: Mediterranean
This was our first cruise but we found it to be of very good value. There have been criticisms of this ship but we had no
problems. The food was good and the accommodation fine if not luxurious.
The public areas were well looked after and had been refurbished. I would say they were of a good standard.
There were 3 dining rooms one waiter service only; one waiter / self service and one self service only. The same
food seemed to be served in all 3 although there were additional choices in the one with waiter service only. You paid extra for
the additional items.
The food was of an above acceptable standard.
The cabin was fine whereas the shower and sink areas were not in good condition. It was not that bad however and the staff
were all friendly. There was plenty closet space and we were on the 5th deck. It was very quiet and we hardly noticed the ship moving. TV in cabin
The entertainment was good and there was plenty to do.Theatre shows, casino, games shows and bar entertainment.
We enjoyed lying on the decks and attended a few shows. The trips were extra but very good. We visited Tunisia, Rome,
Genoa (Portofino and St Marguerita we were unable to visit due to a slight swell which did not allow passengers to disembark via
tenders)Nice, Monaco, Monte Carlo and Barcelona
Most passengers were very presentable and friendly.
