It was a wonderful experience. Being an 18 yr old, I found that their was so many things to do. I loved every single moment spent on the ship, as well as the excursions. I would recommend the Island escape to anyone. The staff, were absolutely amazing.
The place i enjoyed the most, was DECK 12. memories ill never forget. After the kiddies disco and karaoke, which was great. Was the adults disco, which ended at around half two. I enjoyed dancing the night away all night, singing silent night, which was quite embarrassing, and just simply chilling and relaxing with friends that i had made.
The D.J was fantastic. 'GO MARTIN' also the bar staff was great. 'Gina, Anka and Dean'.
The gym was great as well, unfortunately never made much use of it, seeing as the 24 hr restaurant kept me stomach asking for more.
I loved the Island restaurant on deck 6. The service their was first class. They treated you with such loyalty, always friendly. Especially' Satish, Thiago, Royal, Fabiana and many others. The food was splendid. Especially the fish. And loved the puddings. Aahhhh. Feeling hungry already.
The 24 hr restaurant up in deck 10 was brilliant. After a whole night dancing, made us all feel hungry, what a better way than enjoying chips at 3 in the morning. Still the staff their was tired, but never showed it, and were still as helpful and friendly as anything. I am talking about one waiter in particular....yep thats 'Mihai'thanks for putting up with us.
A special thanks to 'MR V.' (Vladimir) who every day cleaned our room spotless, leaving us with a special little animal made out of towels. The beds were comfy and very cosy. Enough space to move about, and the bathroom was like home.
The Africa show was brilliant, so much time and effort was put into it, and it did prove to be spectacular.
The staff also produced the little kids talent show, which was shown in the bounty lounge, that was brilliant, none of the kids were shy in performing, that i would say is down to the friendly staff that looked after the kids.
On board during the day, i was either out on the wonderful excursions which included Tunisia, Rome, Spain which were absolutely amazing, especially Monte Carlo.
On board, apart from the night life, the gym and the casino kept us busy. After breakfast, there's nothing like relaxing by the pool, eating refreshing fruit and chilling.
I met quite a few people on the boat. Especially on Deck 12. We had a great laugh together, Dancing, having fun, it was sad to leave them all behind, but i never failed to get all their numbers and email. I am still in contact with them, which is cool.
The Island Escape was the best
