Itinerary: Mediterranean

Overview
You Get what you Pay for If You are the Dinner tie and jacket brigade you probably will not like the Island Escape. However if you want a cruise for a holiday and not to be a snob I cannot see a problem here.

Public Areas
Bounty Lounge Was Great, Service was a little sparse but "if you got up off you backside" and went to the bar yourself there was no problem and you were served straight away. Ocean Theatre Did not have a bar but if you went just outside "oh not more than ten foot what was there a bar!!!" service was fine no problem, Staff in the ocean theatre did serve you just that they was busy. Sundowner lounge Was fine the only problem we have was the pianist had lost his voice(we tried looking but could not find it)

Did not see any germans but somebody had been learning from them lots of towels but no people on the benches. Casino was good if you like losing money (I made #40) and ran while the going was good.

Food and Service
Food in the Beachcomber was a little repetitive but was cooked warm. The tea and coffee machine ran out of water but if you waited less than two mins it refilled with HOT water (fro those who wait)

Self service restaurant was fine the presentation was fine did anyone see the melons carved as Ceaser Roman The full waiter service restaurant was perfect we had our own Waiter who set the table served us at the table cleared are table--There was not a problem

Cabins
Are cabin would fit four people- there was only two of us. the room was serviced twice a day by Jaycek who left the room perfect twice a day (He got a #40 tip from me).The wardrobe was enough. The toilet did break down but let me put it to you this way-Does your house have a live in plumber? Well our ship did and one hour later it was fixed!!!!!!!!(p.s.to the people on the boat at the same time there is a way to complain and trust me you showed how NOT to do it)

Entertainment
Ocean theatre was great one show a bit freaky "the Journey" a contemporary performance (lets put it this way if you saw this on the first night you would not have gone back) but the other nights where great -Loved the Moulin Rouge. Paul Skally Needs to work on his act but the crowd complain it was rude crude and lewd -IT WAS ADVERTISED AS AN ADULT SHOW please learn to read!

Activities
Tunis in Tunisia - Avoid this Sh**t hole and watch out for the taxi drivers.THe shopping trip at genoa was advertised for 6hours trust me you can do it in 2 and that includes a coffee (a small version of cheshire oaks )I suggest that you try the rome your own pace - coach to rome then go for a wander

Who Goes
Most of the passengers very nice a few seem to think they could get a titanic type ship for less than #1000 .You get what you pay for ...

You want Titanic pay for it #2500 plus I leave my Name and email because I am Not Afraid to say what i Feel including the pain on the bridge tour complaining about 6m for gps system (give us a break)
