Itinerary: Mediterranean
We went with a open mind knowing it was one of the cheaper cruises but we thoroughly enjoyed our week. There is bingo etc if you wanted that type of thing. The only moan was the constant music in the background on the upper sunbathing decks.
The public areas were good, the orangy was a nice place to sit. Books in library could have been better.
The pool was very small but pleasant to use.
Food and service was excellent, attentive, fun waiters and good variety of well presented food. Only one restaurant on ship but breakfast and lunch also available on deck
We were on one of the lower decks and yes there was engine noise but this was constant when ship was moving and something you got used to, I would find that less disturbing than sudden noise from people and other things. The cabins were small but not as small as expected. They were spotlessly clean and the shower was fine.
The shows were first rate from an enthusiastic entertainments team. The staff were very attentive and always smiling and helpful.
The ship is a small one and as such has a friendly atmosphere. The shore visit were well orgainsed and the guides informative if a little hurried sometimes. But the idea is to show you as much as possible in the time allowed. We went to Naples, Rome, Sete (least liked port) Barcelona, Majorca, Florence.
A mixed range of passengers, unfortunately quite a lot of smokers on board but restaurant non smoking and non smoking area in show lounge. We were lucky to have booked a table for two which was preferred but everyone very friendly.
