I was pleasantly surprised with the ship and would recommend it.
The pool is small but not as small as I had figured by the comments going around. There are lots of public areas!! The outside decks are very spacious and have lots of sun beds.
The main lounge has a slight elevation to the seating area, but not enough to properly see the shows.
We ate in the main dining room for all meals except for three that we had in the buffet dining room. Lots of variety to choose from on the buffet and very attractively displayed. In the main dining room the service was excellent!! The food was very good, some even excellent, especially the lamb, the ice cream, the baklava and the katifia (spelling??) Yummm, I want to go back!!
The cabins are a very good size, I was actually surprised but the space, We were on the boat deck and right above the band that played in the main lounge. I did not mind the music during the regular evening shows, because they were over by 10-11 p.m. but I guess the band then played for people to dance to and it went on till 1 a.m. or so. It was VERY LOUD!!!!! I feel there must have been some other area the was not above or below cabins, where people could dance. These rooms should not be assigned to guests. The itinerary for the 4 day Greek Island was very intensive and you needed to be up and about early in the mornings. Lets say we were a bit sleep deprived.
In the 4 nights we attended two full shows, one evening we left half way through and the another evening we did not attend at all. I found that the shows were basically structured the same, just a different costume and song choice. The same people preformed every night and it got a bit boring.
Could have used a variety, like a comedian one night or some thing to make it more interesting.
I appreciated the internet, we could e-mail back home.
Went to the trivia one day, but only a few people showed up.
Did not visit the health club. The ports of call are the highlight of the cruise. If you only do one tour be sure and see Epheasis in Turkey!! The Palace of Knossos is also very interesting. But even if we didn't take a land tour we got of the ship and explored the towns on foot.
There were a lot of Americans and a few Canadians like myself. We had some great table mates for meals. I would certainly invite most of them over for dinner.
