Itinerary: Mediterranean
The ship was in poor condition. It had plumbing problems in cabins and common rest rooms. Hallway walls leaked. Meals were nothing to look forward to.
Pool, what pool? Library and Gym same thing. We hated the cruise. We were so disappointed by the amenities. No game room for recreation.
The food was nothing to look forward to. There was a buffet offered in the morning and lunch, and main dining room eating. They claimed to have a late night buffet. It was only offered Sat. and Sun. night. The other nights a few like two servers passed around finger sandwiches and desserts.
The cabin was small as you would expect on a cruise. Closet space was fine and we were able to store our bags under our beds. The shower had no step between it and the toilet. The whole floor got flooded when you showered. As far as noise. the walls and halls were poorly insulated.
We did attend shows. It was the cruise staff first week so it is not fair to critique.
Our ports where great. However it took about and 1 1/2 hours to disembark the ship. We lost so much time each day. All the ports were beautiful. I recommend Istanbul, Patmos, Kusadasi, and Rhodes for more time to see than what was allocated.
We did meet wonderful people in our tour. Some we will stay in touch with. We met other people who where so disappointed about the Perla we made an agreement not to let the ship get us down. we made the best of it.
