Melody is a wonderful cruise ship. The Captain and staff are very accommodating. Fine quarters with excellent meals. Nice ports of call with either on your own tours or excellent tours arranged through the ship. Melody is a very clean ship and well managed. Meals are delicious with a wide variety. I would strongly recommend this ship or this cruise line, MSC. No disappointment here.
Lots of public areas. From pool areas to a reading library to a theater and the bowling alley. Nice seating and plentiful. Very clean, and comfortable.
Food and Service is second to none. Food was great. Wide variety. Service, what can I say, its Italian and you will not be disappointed.
Sleeping accommodations was nice size. Plenty of storage and closet space. Nice comfortable and clean. The cabin stayed clean throughout the cruise. Cabin staff very helpful with any and everything I needed including finding me a bow tie, I had left mine home.
Entertainment was great. Good variety. From singers to dancers to magicians. You name it, they had it. Nice lounge.
Our ports of call include, Montego Bay, Carthenga, Columbia, San Blas Islands, Panama Canal, Key West and Puerto Limon. Very nice ports of call and no problems that I know of. Tours arranged or you could easily go on your own.
Oh gosh, everyone we met was like we had known them for years. We met people from England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and from all over the US. We toured together, dined together and made lasting friendships. This is an excellent time to make new friends and it will make you enjoy your cruise even better. They are there to have fun too.
