Itinerary: Caribbean
I just returned from cruising on the Carnival Cruise Lines and I beg to differ with those who rate this ship less than 5 stars. Although small yet cozy, the cuisine was outstanding, the service aboard was fantastic and the entertainment, I thought to be of the best. The very best. I've cruised a couple of other lines and I keep comparing them to Norwegian (formerly Royal) Majesty. She is a warm, inviting and a special ship that I look forward to cruising on again---REAL SOON.

The ship has plenty of private/personal areas where one or two can really relax, chat or just be romantic. These areas were very comfortable and I liked the idea that service even extended itself to those areas.
I didn't do the pool thing, but I did lounge in that area and found it to be large enough for me to relax and cruise while others had fun with the splash.
Now the Casino. My World!!!! I didn't fare too well, but I loved the variety of games available, and my loss was soothed by the fact that real people DID win- unlike most cruise ships where the adventure is more like a feeding than a winning.
The food was spectacular. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every meal. Presentation ranks a high 10 and variety was outstanding.
The rooms were smaller than other ships I've cruised on, not unbearably small but I would not want any more than two people in a standard room. The shower of course was smaller as well and the closet space was actually nil.
Entertainment was really super.... I remember real Vegas style shows, games and activities everyone could join in.
Ports of call included Cozumel and Key West. Playa del Carma.
I thought there was just enough time to spend in each port and I just loved the cobblestone streets in Key West. I could have stayed on there longer but I enjoyed both the stops there and Cozumel.
Can't speak on babysitting, etc... It was girlfriend cruise (7 of us).
I did not get to know anyone personally to invite them to my home. Our group sort of stayed together, but I remember the island dance contest. There were a lot of participants who had FUN together. That was awesome.
