Itinerary: Transatlantic
This was our third cruise in SS Norway. The ship provides real classic Grand Ocean Liner experience blended with up to date facilities. Her elegant interiors are second to none, truly a contemporary Queen Mary. The Cuisine is varied with excellent presentation. One warning, book yourself in for 'Weightwatchers' after the vacation if you are unable or are disinclined to use her on board exercise facilities.
We have experienced many other cruise lines including the revered P&O and Cunard, and in our opinion neither can match the NCL Norway in any shape or form. We look forward to a European cruise this summer. Long may she sail!.
For Granduer visit the Club International, the ship's former first class Smoking room and the sensational and unparalleled Windward restaurant, previously her renowned Chambourd restaurant. Try the Windjammer piano bar for a more intimate setting
Both dining rooms offer identical levels of service and cuisine with gourmet menus. On deck food is good though more basic.
Even the basic cabins appear to be significantly larger than their equivalents on recent cruise ships. Premium cabins offer excellent accommodation.
The is a purpose built theatre offering high quality Broadway style shows and a large range of musical entertainment from piano soloists, through more classical and period music to big bands offered in the numerous public rooms afforded only by ships of this size and design.
All three cruises have differed and include Eastern & Western Caribbean and Transatlantic itineraries.
She attracts a broad range of passengers, though mainly a professional following, many are appreciative of the special ambience that this ship can offer.
