Most disappointing cruise that we have taken.NCL has done a great
job of marketing this ship. Other than a ship that glides glides through the water. Nothing else was special
Public areas were the nicest part of the ship, only too cold.
Checkers lounge was a nice place to spend, the lounge entertainment was good. The casino is large and there is enough gaming for everyone.
Breakfast in the dining room was the best meal of the day.
Scrambled eggs were liquid and not well received. Dining room food was the worst of all cruises we have taken. It was not any better than a local cafe. The service was not much better. Our meals were served in the Leeward Dining Room which was tastefully furnished.
Our original cabin on the Fjord was very large, but had a fowl odor.
We changed cabins to the Sky Deck and the cabins there are large and up to date.
The entertainment is first class. The theater and lounge shows
were tops.
We stopped in Lisbon, Malaga, Genoa, Laspezia, Monte-Carlo and
Barcelona. We took one land tour which we found over priced and rushed
through the attractions. We did our sight seeing by local taxis.
She attracts a broad range of passengers. A mixture of Americans and Europeans.
